Latest News!at Brookby Heights...Posting a simple video to our Brookby Heights Facebook page, that we thought would entertain a few people, saw us waking up to a video that had gone viral over night, with millions of views, hundreds of thousands of comments and thousands of shares. Since then we have been interviewed and written up by Horse and Hound in the UK and Horse Nation in the USA and continue to make videos to entertain our followers. 24th April 2012Our dear well loved home bred horse Light The Way BHS has been sold but luckily for us to a talented young up and coming rider as her first hack and only living very close by! So great news for all at BHS who are rather fond of him, he will be returning regularly for lessons with his new owner. He left only last night and seemed to settle in straight away. As a very talented horse and only 6 years old we eagerly look forward to a successful future for him and his new rider.Brooke BHS now in AustraliaThe first foal to be foaled at Brookby Heights has now been exported to Australia to a very talented young rider there, Becc Towler. Becc writes, "We bought Brooke a few weeks before HOY & my instructor "Billy" said while she's still in New Zealand we may as well ride her while she's there. She jumped some really nice clean rounds in the 1m10-1m20 height classes, and jumped a super double clean round in the 15 & under Rider of the year, but we were just out of the placings. The week after she arrived in Australia she was already out to a big competition here "Toowoomba Royal" We placed 5th out of some of the best riders in our area in the Junior Championship. We are already currently running third in the Junior Showjumping series just after one junior competition. Ive been Jumping her 1m20+ and am hopefully soon going to start some Young riders on her when more of our comps start up again. Our next big competition is in a week, hopefully we will go well there. She is a very beautiful horse & is very well educated- I can't wait to continue our journey together :)" The Team and Brookby Heights wish Brooke and Becc all the best success and we look forward to updating their successes!! at Brookby Heights...Posting a simple video to our Brookby Heights Facebook page, that we thought would entertain a few people, saw us waking up to a video that had gone viral over night, with millions of views, hundreds of thousands of comments and thousands of shares.
